Want to eat a tasty burger guilt free? Well look no further, this is just for you! Did you know game meats are higher in protein and lower in fat than other red meats? This makes them a great alternative to lamb, chicken, beef or pork. Game is also wild, natural and free range. Try this venison, ham and avocado burger for a deliciously balanced meal that will really up your protein game (no pun intended).

Ingredients
Seeded wholemeal bun
New Zealand venison burger
Slice of ham
1/2 an avocado
Handful of spinach, rocket and watercress salad

Simply toast your bun and grill the venison (best served medium). I also lightly grilled the ham to give it a bit of a crunch. Feel free to add other foods into the salad such as tomatoes or beetroot etc. Enjoy!
